Mac&Craft brought recycled crafting to the Dorchester Art Project this summer as part of the gallery's show Altarations, featuring shrines by Boston-area artists. One product in the Mac&Craft pipeline is a super easy way to make a special nook out of any empty pantry-goods box. So it was a perfect match for a shrine-themed show. We brought the how-to and some tape, and visitors to the show made their own amazing shrines all night at our bustling crafting table. Thank you Dorchester Art Project for a great interactive art event! Read more about our interactive art-making in the Boston Art Review.
Mac&Craft is now available at Black Ink in Harvard Square. Mad Exacto skills on display in the sample they crafted, a replica of their shop complete with front windows and sheets of wrapping papers hanging inside.
